The Web Site as Your Store Window

For this weeks marketing tid-bit, I wanted to address the question: Why do I need a web site. I am attaching a link to an article written by Jim Walton of Brand Acceleration. In the article, Mr. Walton compares a web site to a store window and I think it is and excellent illustration. Your business may be small, it may be in a small town, you may be the only employee but your customers don't need to know this or even care. A web site that is well done is a great equalizer. If you don't have one, you are losing business, if it isn't interesting and current, you are not maximizing your potential.
